Sports has a tremendous capacity to facilitate change. By creating inclusive basketball programs that bring together participants of diverse backgrounds, we've seen our children and coaches create bonds that would be difficult to cultivate otherwise - all while thriving emotionally within a safe environment.
Our Mission:
Ubumwe uses sport as a means to enhance unity among Rwandan youths while simultaneously supporting Rwandan basketball development through a series of youth activities, coaches trainings, and infrastructure rehabilitation.
We focus on three specific areas of development: kids, coaches, & courts.
